The onsite crankshaft grinding machine manufactured by RA Power Solutions is designed to have minimum vibration resulting in maintenance of close tolerance in terms of taper and ovality within 0.02 mm or depending on the diameter of the crank pin and main journals. The pneumatic motor used as a drive for the crankshaft grinding machine needs clean air without moisture at a pressure of 7 kg/cm2 and 90 CFM.

It is important that the moisture in the air is kept controlled and maintenance of the pneumatic motor is undertaken periodically as per the instruction manual provided by the manufacturer. The storage and the transportation of the machine to the site are generally done in the large toolboxes made out of aluminum and powder coated. In certain cases due to the weight restriction, the machine is also carried in large suitcases. In that case, the machine is properly packed in order to avoid any damage during the movement of the machine from one site to another.
